Forres Community Church
Forres Community Church (FCC) is a growing disciple-making network and New Worshipping Community based in Forres, Moray. We long to see the lives of ordinary people—and the wider community—transformed by the Good News of Jesus Christ.
We gather weekly for prayer, Bible study, fellowship, and discovery. Like the Early Church, we meet in homes and community spaces like cafés, following a rhythm of being both scattered and gathered. We don’t have a single church building, and that helps us stay focused on Jesus and ready to follow where He leads.
We’re a group of people from different backgrounds, learning to love and follow Jesus together. We’re always encouraged when God brings new people into our community—He’s already been at work in their lives, and we’re thankful to meet them.
We also lead other discipleship groups like Freedom in Christ and Alpha, and we dedicate one Sunday a month to focus on discipling our children and young people.
Kingdom Breakthrough Events
Kingdom Breakthrough Events are fun and focus on engaging with the local community. We offer people our own experience of God, we pray with people, we seek out those who need Him most, and do what we can (with much help from the Holy Spirit) to introduce people to Jesus.
Discovery Bible Studies
Discovery Groups are for curious people who want to explore the Bible and learn how God’s word can help answer life’s biggest questions. A DBS lasts about 90 minutes and we reflect on what a Bible passage is saying about God and Jesus, humans (including ourselves), and how we can respond with obedience. Its all about gathering round the Bible!
DEEPER Studies
DEEPER Studies are inductive Bible studies where folks can dig deeper into the biblical text. As some choose to take the next step we hope that we can encourage new disciples to create good rhythms of Bible reading and reflection.
